About us

Where are we located?

The Silk Screeners Print Shop and Graphic Design studio is located in Watsonville California. We are not a walk-in print shop rather we use our facility strictly for production purposes sustaining work from small to large quantities. We service many customers here locally from the central coast with accounts as far as northern and southern California.

What do we do?

To put it simply, we transfer artwork and designs onto substrates such as t-shirts, hoodies, or flat stock products like paper or vinyl. We are one of very few shops in the area with the ability to reproduce screen printed flat stock products with quality standards. We can provide spot color, CMYK and simulated process printing depending on what the artwork calls for. Artwork can be created in-house or we can also work with art you may already have.

What is Screen Printing?

In Short, Screen printing is the process of transferring a stenciled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, Ink and a squeegee. Fabric and paper are the most commonly screen-printed surfaces, but with specialized inks it’s also possible to print onto wood, metal, plastic, and even glass. The basic method involves creating a stencil on a fine mesh screen, and then pushing ink (or paint, in the case of artwork and posters) through to create an imprint of your design on the surface beneath. When printing multiple colors its done layer by layer one color at a time.
